Short-term Housing
Having a safe, stable home is the foundation for moving forward.
We know that there isn’t enough housing in Scotland to meet demand, so we work with local authorities and landlords to create opportunities for people who need them. Whether someone is experiencing homelessness, facing a housing crisis, or waiting to move into a permanent home, we help make sure suitable accommodation is available when it’s needed.

For Landlords
We’re always keen to hear from landlords who have properties available to support our Short-term Housing programme.
When you work with Right There, you’ll benefit from a professional housing management service, a dedicated point of contact and the opportunity to help provide a home for someone during a critical period in their housing journey.

For Local Authorities
We partner with local authorities to provide fully managed, temporary furnished accommodation. This helps to reduce pressure on temporary accommodation services, improve move-on opportunities and increase housing capacity without requiring capital investment.

Looking for Housing Support?
If you are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or looking for temporary accommodation, please note that Right There does not accept direct referrals into our Short-Term Housing service.
Referrals are made through local authority homelessness services, who assess housing need and determine the most appropriate support and accommodation options available.
Glasgow: Contact Glasgow City Council Homelessness Services via their helpline, local offices or online application service.
Edinburgh: Contact the City of Edinburgh Council Homelessness Service via their housing assistance team, local housing offices or out-of-hours service.
Outside Glasgow or Edinburgh: Please contact your local authority homelessness service, who will be able to assess your circumstances and provide advice, support and accommodation options where appropriate.
